1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "Customer") and HelpFerHome ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your use of our website at helpferhome.in, mobile application, and all related services.

By using our platform in any of the following ways, you agree to these Terms:

  • Browsing or visiting our website or app
  • Searching for or viewing any service listing
  • Adding a service to your cart or wishlist
  • Placing an order via WhatsApp or any other channel
  • Contacting us via phone, WhatsApp, or email
  • Creating an account or providing your personal information

HelpFerHome is an online marketplace that connects customers with verified, independent home service professionals. We facilitate bookings for a wide range of home-related services including but not limited to:

Our Role as a Marketplace

HelpFerHome acts as an intermediary platform. The actual services are performed by independent, vetted service professionals ("Service Providers") who are not employees of HelpFerHome. We are responsible for:

  • Verifying and onboarding qualified service professionals
  • Providing a platform to discover and book services
  • Facilitating communication between customers and providers
  • Maintaining quality standards and handling customer complaints
  • Offering service warranties on completed work
Note: HelpFerHome is a technology platform and marketplace. While we take all reasonable steps to verify our service professionals, we cannot guarantee outcomes in all situations. Service quality ultimately depends on the independent professional assigned.

3. User Eligibility

To use HelpFerHome's services, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater.
  • You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
  • You must have a valid Indian mobile number for WhatsApp communication.
  • You must provide a valid service address within our operational areas.
  • You must not have been previously suspended or banned from using our platform.

By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above eligibility requirements. If you are booking on behalf of another person or a business, you warrant that you have authority to do so and that the represented party also agrees to these Terms.

4. Account & Registration

While some features of our platform may be used without registration, certain features may require creating an account. By registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with others
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at support@helpferhome.in
Important: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we suspect fraudulent activity, violation of these Terms, or misuse of our platform without prior notice.

5. Booking & Orders

HelpFerHome uses WhatsApp as its primary order placement and confirmation channel. Here's how the booking process works:

  • Browse and select your desired service(s)
  • Add to cart and proceed to order
  • Fill in your name, phone, address & preferred time
  • Click "Place Order via WhatsApp"
  • Confirm the pre-filled WhatsApp message
  • Our team will confirm within 2 hours

  • Booking is confirmed only after you receive a WhatsApp confirmation from us
  • We will assign a verified professional based on your location
  • You'll receive the professional's name and contact before arrival
  • A reminder will be sent 1 hour before the appointment

Booking Conditions

  • All bookings are subject to availability of service professionals in your area.
  • HelpFerHome reserves the right to reschedule a booking if a professional is unavailable, with reasonable notice to the customer.
  • Providing false or incorrect address/contact information may result in booking cancellation without refund of any advance paid.
  • We currently operate primarily in Jaipur, Rajasthan, with select services in nearby areas.

6. Pricing & Payments

HelpFerHome follows a transparent, no-hidden-charges pricing policy. Here's everything you need to know about our pricing:

Visit/Inspection ChargeFREE โ€” No charge for sending a technician to assess the problem.
Additional PartsIf spare parts or additional materials are required, costs will be communicated before work begins and require your approval.
Payment TimingPayment is collected only after the service has been completed to your satisfaction.
Payment MethodsCash, UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), and bank transfer. No card payments required online.
No Online PaymentWe do NOT collect payment through our website. Any site claiming to collect payment on our behalf is fraudulent.
Price ChangesPrices may change without prior notice. The price shown at time of booking is honored for that booking.
Pay After Service Policy: You are never required to pay in advance. Our professionals will provide a bill/receipt upon completion. If the final bill significantly differs from the quoted price without prior approval, please contact our support immediately.

7. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Refund Policy

  • Since payments are made after service completion, advance refunds generally do not apply.
  • If you paid an advance deposit and the service could not be completed due to our fault, a full refund will be issued within 7 business days.
  • If a service was completed but you are dissatisfied, please raise a complaint within 48 hours of service completion via WhatsApp.
  • Quality complaints within the 90-day warranty period will be resolved through a free re-visit or partial refund, at our discretion.

8. User Responsibilities

As a customer of HelpFerHome, you agree to uphold the following responsibilities to ensure smooth, safe, and effective service delivery:

  • Clearly describe the problem or requirement
  • Secure pets and valuables before the professional arrives

  • Approve any additional work or parts before they proceed
  • Do not interfere with technical work being performed

After the Service

  • Make payment as agreed โ€” cash or UPI โ€” upon completion
  • Review and sign the service report/invoice provided by the professional
  • Provide honest feedback about the service quality
  • Report any damage or dissatisfaction within 48 hours via WhatsApp

9. Prohibited Activities

Section 9

The following activities are strictly prohibited when using HelpFerHome's platform. Violation may result in immediate account termination and/or legal action:

  • Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information during booking or registration
  • Booking services with no genuine intention of using them (fake bookings)
  • Harassing, threatening, or abusing our service professionals or staff
  • Attempting to directly hire or poach professionals away from our platform
  • Copying, reproducing, or scraping content from our website without permission
  • Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to access our platform
  • Posting false, defamatory, or misleading reviews about our services
  • Misrepresenting yourself or impersonating another person
  • Attempting to bypass our booking system or negotiate directly with professionals to avoid platform fees
  • Using our platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable Indian law
  • Uploading viruses, malware, or any harmful code to our platform
  • Interfering with the security or integrity of our platform systems
Zero Tolerance: Any physical or verbal abuse of our service professionals will result in permanent ban from the platform and may be reported to law enforcement authorities.

10. Service Provider Terms

If you are a service professional or partner registering to offer services on the HelpFerHome platform, the following additional terms apply to you:

As a Service Provider, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate credentials, licenses, and experience information
  • Maintain all necessary trade certifications and comply with local regulations
  • Arrive on time for all confirmed bookings (grace period: 15 minutes)
  • Carry valid government-issued photo ID at all times during service visits
  • Maintain professional conduct and treat all customers respectfully
  • Not accept cash directly for additional work without HelpFerHome's knowledge
  • Report any on-site safety hazards or customer misconduct to us immediately
  • Not solicit customers to book outside the HelpFerHome platform
  • Maintain confidentiality of all customer data and address information
Partner Agreement: Service providers must sign a separate Partner Agreement with HelpFerHome before commencing work. These Terms of Use apply in addition to โ€” not in place of โ€” the Partner Agreement.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and intellectual property on the HelpFerHome platform are owned by or licensed to us. This includes:

  • The HelpFerHome name, logo, brand identity, and tagline
  • All website design, layout, graphics, and user interface elements
  • Service descriptions, pricing structures, and category frameworks
  • Photography, illustrations, and multimedia content
  • Software code, databases, and technical infrastructure
  • All marketing and promotional materials

What You May Do

  • View and use our platform for personal, non-commercial purposes
  • Share links to our service listings on social media
  • Print or save service information for your own reference

What You May Not Do

  • Reproduce, copy, or distribute our content without written permission
  • Use our brand name, logo, or imagery for any commercial purpose
  • Create derivative works based on our platform design or content
  • Claim ownership of any content originating from our platform

Any violation of our intellectual property rights may result in legal action under the Copyright Act, 1957 and Trade Marks Act, 1999 of India.

12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Service Disclaimer

HelpFerHome provides the platform and marketplace on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for excellence, we do not warrant that:

  • The platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free at all times
  • Service outcomes will meet every customer's specific expectations in every case
  • All information on the platform is completely accurate, complete, or up-to-date at all times
  • Any specific service professional will be available in your area at your preferred time

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, HelpFerHome shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of our platform
  • Loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities
  • Damages caused by third-party service professionals beyond our direct control
  • Interruptions to service caused by force majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, government orders, pandemics, etc.)
  • Any third-party website or service linked from our platform
Maximum Liability Cap: In any event, HelpFerHome's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or use of our services shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the specific service in question.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HelpFerHome, its directors, officers, employees, agents, partners, and service professionals from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:

  • Your use of the HelpFerHome platform or services
  • Your violation of any provision of these Terms of Use
  • Your violation of any rights of a third party, including intellectual property rights
  • Any false or misleading information you provided to us
  • Your negligent or wrongful conduct in connection with the services
  • Any misuse of our platform or unauthorized access to accounts

This indemnification obligation will survive termination of these Terms and your use of the platform.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution Process

  • Informal Resolution First: If you have a dispute, please contact us via WhatsApp or email. We will make every effort to resolve it amicably within 15 days.
  • Mediation: If informal resolution fails, both parties agree to attempt mediation through a mutually agreed mediator before pursuing legal action.
  • Legal Proceedings: If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
Consumer Rights: Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under applicable Indian consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the e-Commerce Rules, 2020.

  • A notice will be displayed on our homepage for at least 7 days after major updates

Your continued use of the HelpFerHome platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must stop using our services.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I book multiple services in one order? โ–ผ
Yes! You can add multiple services to your cart and place one combined order via WhatsApp. Our team will coordinate scheduling for each service accordingly.
What happens if a professional doesn't show up? โ–ผ
If a confirmed professional fails to arrive without prior notice, contact us immediately on WhatsApp. We will either dispatch an alternative professional or offer you priority rescheduling at no extra cost.
Is my address and personal data safe? โ–ผ
Absolutely. Your data is handled per our Privacy Policy. We only share your address with the assigned professional for service delivery. Professionals are contractually bound to keep your data confidential.
What does the 90-day warranty cover? โ–ผ
Our 90-day warranty covers defects in workmanship for completed services. If the same issue recurs within 90 days due to faulty service (not new damage or misuse), we'll send a professional back at no charge.
Can I request a specific professional? โ–ผ
Yes, you can request a specific professional you've worked with before by mentioning their name in your WhatsApp order message. We will do our best to accommodate the request, subject to availability.
